Clos Berenguer are a small family-owned vineyard based in the heart of Priorat, north east Spain. Soils are poor -licorella, slate with mica and quartzite and old vines cling to the precipitous hillsides and terraces.
Blanc de Botes is a Garnacha Blanca dominant cuvée, fermented in stainless steel and aged for one month in new french oak barrels. The result is a wine of real depth, weight and complexity- reminiscent of white Rioja yet with a fleshier palate and subtle herbal nuances - compelling stuff - powerful with real subtlety
