The Oliver’s vintage is often a bottle full of complex subtleties and is usually best drink at room temperature, or even given some air to help open it up.
It’s a Dry Still Fine Cider, bright and burnished in colour. On the nose, it has wood, spice, char, vanilla and ripe fruit. In the mouth, there is a flavour of sweet fruit to start then a touch of brett, funk, then oak, char and more overripe fruit, full and round. Great finish with a satisfying mouthfeel of sweet fruit and spicy charred oak.
Fermented with wild yeasts in ex-whiskey barrels for the most part.
