Scottish Heather Honey Comb is reddish/orange to dark amber. It has a slightly bitter, tangy, pungent, smokey, mildly sweet taste that persists for a long time. It has a strong distinctive woody, warm, floral, fresh fruit aroma reminiscent of heather flowers.
WHAT WE WOULD DO WITH IT.
- with cheese! Excellent addition to a cheeseboard. Spoon the Honey & Comb on top and sit back to enjoy the amazing flavours.
- Bread and Butter. Because of the unique texture of the comb, this honey will easily spread over your toast in a thick layer without the drip.
- An extra special Scone. Mix chunks of the comb and the honey through the scone mix before portioning and baking. phenomenal!
